Lets do it, one more time! A new comeback, 11 weeks to go!

Its been a while since I sat down and wrote something and at the same time its been almost a year and a half since my last competition. So many things happened... life happened I needed a break from everything, even from training.

After my mom died in August 2009, a couple of weeks after I decided to compete without being in condition, I probably did it to try to feel good, but it ended up being a huge mistake because I felt worst after it;   the pain of my mom's lost was so unbearable that  after a while I started to lost interest in all the things I normally liked to do, specially training and getting ready to compete.

After  many months and coming to terms with her death I finally took a deep breath and decided to go on with my life, and at the end I discovered once more that my passion and dream to compete and obtain my IFBB PRO CARD its was still alive and kicking inside me. So I drag my ass to gym and started to train again. I looked up coming events and decided to compete at the Diamond Classic Figure Event in April 9 in Florida.

I still have 11 weeks to go, and speaking from experience I know that its not just getting ready physically its also training  my mind and soul. For the next 11 weeks I will be sharing my journey with you because I know there are so many lessons to learn and also enjoy the journey,  so when I finally get to that day I will cherish it even more.

This time I decided to to things different, I change my training and my diet so far I like the results that I'm seeing. Mixing my training with weight training, my cardio and different circuit training has helped me to keep it fresh, new and always pushing my self to the limit, and when I feel like I can't do one more rept. or set I just think that at another gym an other girl is pushing her self too, to do one more and believe me that sets a trigger inside me to just keep going.

My personal goal at this point is to improve my self and looked better than the last time, I have done my research and assignment, I need to present a smaller package not to  big not to reaped, just the right size and toned, I know easier said than done but so far  I like the changes  and improvement that I'm seeing.

For some reason every time I start a diet I get  hooked on the Food Network Chanel and the show Man vs. Food,  it helps me to get through the diet, probably is thinking about the very first thing I will  eat as soon  as I get off the stage, a chocolate brownie  jaja.

So I'm really looking forward for the next 10 weeks to kick up a notch and see  what life has in store for me, I know they will be great things because I'm relaying on my personal coach 24/7: God, he is  always there when I need Him and when I'm tired He carries me through anything!

Until next week, B healthy!
